Wind Shear factor on OFP
The wind shear factors can appear several places on your OFP, like in the top section with a Maximum forecasted windshear enroute on a specific waypoint, e.i 6/PELIT, in the wind summaries – or it could be included in your Nav log with maximum turbulence for each waypoint for the route.
With NSH
If the wind shear code NSH is inserted in the Flight Plan Version 4-2, then the values range from 0 to 10+
Value | Clear Air Turbulence level |
---|---|
0 | None |
1 - 4 | Light turbulence |
5 - 9 | Moderate turbulence |
10 - 10+ | Severe turbulence |
Without NSH
Without NSH the range is from 0 to 9
