Why is my tabs in Data Editor “Read only”?
If you cannot edit in the Data Editor’s tab it might be 2 reasons:
No admin rights
Your username do not have the correct rights to make changes in the Data Editor database, the Aircraft files or the OFP section.
Please contact your PPS responsible in your company to have more rights on your username
“Visible only” in settings
If you do have admin rights on your PPS username, it might be your settings in the PPS Option Users you need to change.
Please find PPS Option Users in your computer’s start menu and choose “Run as Administrator” to access the Corporate Data tab.
Select your account
Change the dropdown option for the specific tab to Visible and Editable and click Save in the very bottom of the Settings Manager.
Restart PPS and check your Data Editor again.
