Runway 2 Runway examples
Step by step guide in setting up a simple Runway 2 Runway configuration can be seen below. Note that the same principle is used for setting up SIDs and STARs, so only SIDs are covered in this guide.
Tailwind / headwind
Below, a simple example of the headwind function can be seen. This scenario is applicable for both takeoff and landing. The headwind function can only be used in conjunction with a selected, preferred runway. The same goes the other way, if a Preferred runway is selected but no headwind value is entered, the runway will only be preferred if the winds are calm.

Preferred RWY with max tailwind
Case: Use runway 27 as preferred with a maximum tailwind of 10knots for takeoff and 5 knots for landing
Step 1

Open Runway 27 and tick the Preferred box for both Takeoff and Landing.
Save all changes by clicking Save Airport.
Step 1

Open Runway 09 and set Headwind value 11 for takeoff and 6 for landing.
Save all changes by clicking Save Airport.
Do not use SID with specific prefix
Case: Do not use any of the SIDs with the prefix P (ASKOV4A, RERPA2A and RIDSI6A etc.) from runway 27
Open Runway 27 and tick No Use on the unwanted procedures, in our case SIDs with a P-prefix. Save all changes by clicking Save Airport.

Only use SID with specific prefix
Case: Only use SIDs with the S-prefix from runway 18
Open Runway 18 the specific runway and tick No Use on the unwanted procedures, in our case all SIDs without a S-prefix. Save all changes by clicking Save.
