How to add accounts and users in PPS
To be able to user PPS you must have an account available and active. The account name is usually your Airline 3-lettercode or as FSP er specific 3-letter prefix.
You can add numerous accounts as FSP and also numerous users on 1 account on a single PPS installation.
New account for new-installed PPS application?
If you have just installed your PPS installation, the fastest way to add account and users is to open PPS either via the PPS tray or shortcut on your desktop.
When it is a new fresh installation the Accounts and Users Wizard” automatically pops up and then confirm with “Yes” you want to add a new account.
Press the “Next” button.
Add your 3-letter prefix + your username you want to use. This username should be active on www.crewbriefing.com on your specific account.
The installation of account and 1 user is now complete
Adding extra account to your PPS
If 1 account already exists, please open your computers Start Menu and find “PPS8 Wizard”
To install the account correct please first open the program as “Run as Administrator” and follow the instructions and then normal with “Open”.
The process is identical when the Wizard opens.
ADMIN:
NORMAL
Press the “Next” button.
Add your 3-letter prefix + your username you want to use. This username should be active on www.crewbriefing.com on your specific account.
The setup is complete.
Adding new user for existing account
If you have an existing account, it is very easy to add a new user. The new user will use the same PPS data for the this account so no extra data is needed for this user.
Open “PPS8 Options (User)” in your computer’s Start Menu
Click on your account name
Press “Add user” in upper left corner
Add the username in the lower right box
Once inserted, press the “Test” button and the credentials are validated against our database.
If the data is correct the green box (PPS X) or popup box (PPS SP2) will confirm this.
