Flight List

The flight list view can be modified to accommodate different sets of flights. A specific period of time as well as the number of flights can be adjusted with the settings seen below. Default values can be set up by user with user default settings modification rights.

Flights Next 12 HrsShows a list of uploaded flights where STD is within the next 12 hours
Flights Next 24 HrsShows a list of uploaded flights where STD is within the next 24 hours
RecentShows a list of uploaded flights where STD has been exceeded, which are not older than STD – 24 hours.
Any PeriodShows all flights uploaded to CrewBriefing, which are not older than STD – 24 hours.
Flights per PageSelect number of flights displayed on one page. Available values 30, 40, 50 or 60.

The flight identifiers on the CrewBriefing are a combination of the company code, used for unique identification by the CrewBriefing software, and the flight number/registration used by the company.

The flights can be sorted by flight identifier, STD, departure airport or upload time in ascending/descending order.
A small envelope ikon is shown to the left of the flight identifier link, if a message has been uploaded/sent to a flight. In case the message is of high importance, a red exclamation mark is shown beside the envelope.

Search Flight Options

Available for users with Search Rights

It’s possible to search in flight list by using the search control placed above the flight list.

Select desired Search Category from drop-down list and insert the search string in the text-box.
Click the Search button to view the result of your search.
Click the Search/Update List button to get your current flight list refreshed.

Individual Flight List Setup

Available for users with User Settings Modification Rights

To tailor an individual flight list for a CrewBriefing user, click on the link User default settings
Selectable items are highlighted in green. Select desired setup and click Save to store the settings for further use.

Selection of Flights
It is possible to create and download or e-mail flight briefing packages both for single flight and for group of flights. Depending on the number of selected flights you will either get the Flight Menu page (single flight) or the Flight Group Menu page (multiple flights). To open Flight Menu page for an individual flight, click relevant link on the flight list.

Group Selected Flights To open a page showing details for a group of flights select the flights you want to group in the flight list and click one of the Group Flights links. The links are displayed above and below the Flight Selection window.

Up to 8 flights can be selected in a single group. When the maximum selected flights are exceeding 8 a warning will appear informing that the maximum is exceeded.

Note:
Refresh and recalculation of flights is not available when grouping flights. This must be done when single mode flight selection and following Group flights can be used for printing.

Delete Flight

Available for users with Delete Flights Rights

Users with no administrative rights can access the Delete Flights-function via the link on the top of CrewBriefing main pages.

To delete a flight, mark the box in front of the flight(s) you want to delete and click Delete Selected Flights.
