Error: Maximum request length exceeded

In rare conditions you might see the below error when trying to upload to CrewBriefing in the Dispatch Guide Item

There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. —> Maximum request length exceeded.

or

An error occurred during upload to CrewBriefing: There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. —> Maximum request length exceeded.

Reason:

This could be due to:

• Too long crew names in CREW csv file (max 25 charaters)
• Too long Dispatcher’s name (max 25 charaters)
• Incorrect formatting when trying to import data with special characters in the different CSV files.
  In below example the name Münich is imported in APTDATA with incorrect UFT code, so the ü is converted to multiple suspicious characters. But please also check your CREW and MEL files for special characters.
